What is Grammarly?

Grammarly is a free spelling and grammar editing software that any GCU student can use. There are paid versions available, but the free version is sufficient and offers everything a GCU student should need. Grammarly also offers AI features, but GCU students should not use these features when writing. (Please see the university’s stance on the use of AI in theology here.)

Products and Plans:

As mentioned previously, Grammarly offers various plans and products. The free versions of these products are all a GCU student should need. There are two ways to use Grammarly: the first is to simply use the Grammarly editor (which will suite students who do not want to download any other applications). For students who want Grammarly to be more versatile, and able to be accessed across the web and various applications, there is the Grammarly browser extension.
