Wisdom Books
The wisdom books of the Bible include Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. These all contain the wisdom of God but in varying forms. Job is known for its discourses and speeches and Job and his friends search for wisdom about life’s issues. Psalms is a collection of songs. Proverbs is a collection of wise sayings. Ecclesiastes is a pessimistic exploration of wisdom from a worldly viewpoint. Song of Solomon is a collection of love stories and poems.
