Torah
The first five books of the Bible are referred to as the Pentateuch (Five Books) or the Torah (the Teaching/Instruction). This includes Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. It starts with the earliest history of humanity and ends with the formation of the nation of Israel as they are about to enter the promised land. These books are traditionally attributed to the authorship of Moses.
